Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data OpnVoice ("we", "us") collects when you use opnvoice.cloud and the OpnVoice text-to-speech API, and how we handle it. We collect the minimum needed to run the service.

1. What we collect

• Email address — used to issue your API key and to match payments to your account.
• Usage metrics — per-key character counts, request counts, and daily aggregates. Used for billing (credit deduction) and abuse prevention.
• Payment data — payments are processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details; we receive only your email and order details (product, amount) to credit your account.

2. Synthesis text and audio

Text you submit for synthesis is processed in memory to generate audio and returned to you. We do not store your input text or the generated audio after the request completes — only the character count is recorded for billing.

3. Cookies

The website sets no tracking cookies. Your language preference is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

4. Service providers

We rely on the following infrastructure providers, which process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, CDN, and API gateway.
• Supabase — database (API keys, credit balances, usage aggregates).
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing (merchant of record).

5. Data retention

Account data (email, key, balances, usage aggregates) is retained while your key is active. Contact us to delete your account and associated data.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

All traffic to the website and API is encrypted with TLS. Access to the database is restricted to server-side services using scoped credentials.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
